The State of Vermont is seeking an Environmental Engineer VI for the Dam Safety Program within the Department of Environmental Conservation. The ideal candidate will have regulatory policy experience, excellent communication skills, and strong technical abilities in dam safety engineering and Emergency Action Planning.
The role includes ensuring compliance with dam safety rules, conducting permit reviews, and developing Emergency Action Plans to reduce risks to life, property, and the environment. A Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant engineering experience are required.
