Overview
The Water Investment Division seeks an Environmental Engineer V to provide engineering support for publicly funded municipal and private sector projects planning and constructing drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, and other water infrastructure improvements. The role involves reviewing engineering reports, consultant agreements, construction contracts, progress payments, and project certifications while coordinating with federal and state funding partners, municipal officials, and regulatory agencies.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to environmental protection as part of a growing engineering team with experienced Professional Engineers.
- Provide engineering support for publicly funded municipal and private sector projects planning and constructing drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, and other water infrastructure improvements.
- Review engineering reports, consultant agreements, construction contracts, progress payments, and project certifications.
- Coordinate with federal and state funding partners, municipal officials, and regulatory agencies.
- Bachelor s degree or higher in environmental, sanitary, chemical, water resources, civil or mechanical engineering
- Two or more years of experience in a related engineering field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage publicly funded projects
- Experience working with federal funds
