Responsibilities
- Providing support to taxpayers through both phone, emails and in person.
- Reviewing returns for accuracy and correcting mistakes or requesting information.
- Working collaboratively with other staff to ensure deadlines are met.
- Associate degree or higher OR High school diploma or equivalent AND at least one (1) year of experience in accounting, auditing, tax preparation, tax processing, financial operations/administration, analytics, or related field
- Extension tax knowledge
- Experience in business or fiscal duties.
- Knowledge of local government.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate challenging topics to individuals with varied backgrounds.
- A desire to continue to learn and grow.
- Associate degree
- High school diploma
