Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for a Histotechnologist in Berlin, VT. This assignment consists of 8-hour day shifts, five days per week, totaling 40 hours, with a weekly pay of $2,450.

Key Responsibilities of the Histotechnologist:
Prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic examination
Perform embedding, microtomy, staining (H&E and special stains), and cover slipping
Ensure proper specimen labeling and quality control procedures
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
Assist pathologists by preparing slides and ensuring high-quality specimen presentation
Follow laboratory protocols and regulatory guidelines (CLIA, CAP, etc.)
Accurately document procedures and maintain detailed records

Requirements:
ASCP certification as HT or HTL required
Active Vermont license (if required by state regulations)
Minimum 1 year of recent histology laboratory experience
Strong knowledge of tissue processing, staining techniques, and lab safety
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced laboratory environment
