Oracle Health Government Services is seeking a skilled
** Technical Project Manager
** to join our mission-driven organization. This position is critical to the supporting our Federal client with the Electronic Health Modernization needs. This position combines hands-on technical integration development with end-to-end project management responsibilities for healthcare interfaces built and deployed using the Rhapsody integration engine.
This role oversees the full lifecycle of interface development and deployment, providing strategic coordination, risk management, and stakeholder communication across multiple teams. The position serves as a central integration leader, supporting Release Management and Delivery Leadership for all interface-related deployment activities to ensure successful delivery of interface projects that support healthcare workflows and regulatory requirements. The candidate should provide a strong project management expertise with hands-on knowledge of HL7 standards, interface development methodologies, healthcare IT systems, and interoperability best practices.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of federal contracting rules and regulations and be comfortable operating within a highly regulated environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams-both internal stakeholders and client partners.
** Responsibilities*
* - Support integration projects from initiation through deployment and post-go-live support.
- Facilitate technical discussions internal and external when needed.
- Coordinate directly with vendors, clients, internal technical teams, and federal stakeholders.
- Identify, document, and escalate project risks and issues; develop and execute mitigation strategies.
- Support Release Managers and Delivery Leads with overall integration planning and deployment execution.
- Ability to configure interface engine components, message routing, transformations, and mappings.
- Identify solution build dependencies within the Oracle Health Millennium platform.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality, compliance, and organizational standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of interface deployment status in team reporting tools.
- Manage escalation processes for interface outages and critical incidents.
-Monitor project performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Top skills or competencies to be successful:
· Hands on experience leading programs with multiple operational teams
· 3rd party vendor management and Risk management experience
· HL7 certification or healthcare interoperability experience.
· Experience with cloud-based healthcare integration platforms
· Knowledge of population health, revenue cycle, laboratory, radiology, or pharmacy integrations.
· Communication, team building, coaching
· Experience coordinating technical resources and managing complex integration projects.
· HL7 v2.x messaging
· Understanding interface messaging flows, triggers, common message types and messaging segments
· FHIR APIs
· DICOM integrations
· Review interface specifications, mapping documents, and workflow requirements
Education, certifications, or experience (preferred/required):
· Bachelors plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant job experience
· Familiarity with systems development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, business process re-engineering, and program management best practices is essential.
· Previous Federal Contracting experience preferred
· PMP preferred
