RN, Surgical Assistant, RN Nurse

This position requires flexibility with scheduling. The shifts are 8 or 10 hours during weekdays, with the following shifts available:

• Day shift: 06:50 - 15:30 or 06:50 - 17:30
• Evening shift: 11:00 - 19:30

Call shifts are required, including one weekend rotation every 5 weeks and one weekday evening call per week.

The Operating Room RN will provide high-quality surgical care and assist in various procedures in the operating room. Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing as applicable, with a focus on orthopedics, eye surgeries, and general cases. Nurses must be willing to circulate C-sections, with training provided.

• Provide care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Perform circulating and scrubbing roles as required.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams.
• Monitor patient vitals and prepare instruments and equipment.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, specifically in operating room settings.
• Must possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong experience in orthopedic and general surgery; experience in eye services is a plus.
• Recent experience with the EPIC documentation system within the past 2 years is required.
