Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Care/SNF unit specializing in rehabilitative and chronic care. This position involves providing quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Float to different units as needed, including dementia care populations.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance standards, including mandatory background checks and certifications.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license and active state licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years' nursing experience, preferably in LTC or SNF settings.
- Current BLS certification through the AHA.
- Experience working with dementia patients and elderly populations.
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to pass extensive background checks, including nationwide and county court searches, FACIS3, and sex offender registry, within specified time frames.
