Montpelier, Vermont has a current opening for a Street Maintenance worker within the Streets Division of Public Works. The position involves working with a streets crew performing skilled work in winter operations, construction, maintenance and repair of streets, drainage culverts, sidewalks, signage, and other appurtenances in the City Right of Way.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, or vocational school; a valid Vermont class B Commercial Driver's License is required, tanker endorsement preferred; and candidate must pass pre-employment physical and drug testing.

Compensation & Benefits: The range of compensation for the position is $25.00 to $27.57 per hour, dependent on experience, qualifications, and an interview inclusive of meeting the requirements of a proficiency matrix. The City of Montpelier offers a comprehensive benefit package.
