Streets Maintenance Worker Truck Driver Level 1

Montpelier, Vermont has (1) current opening for a Street Maintenance worker within the Streets Division of Public Works. The person filling this position will work with a streets crew performing skilled work in winter operations, construction, maintenance and repair of streets, drainage culverts, sidewalks, signage, and other appurtenances in the City Right of Way.

Qualifications:

high school diploma or GED, or vocational school; a valid Vermont class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement preferred; and be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug testing.

Compensation: $25.00 to $27.57 per hour dependent on experience, qualifications, and an interview inclusive of meeting the requirements of a proficiency matrix. The City of Montpelier offers a comprehensive benefit package. This is a union position, and a copy of the Union Contract is available upon request.
