Overview
This position involves operating commercial vehicles as a CDL-A City Driver for local freight pickup and delivery.
Responsibilities- Operate commercial vehicles safely and in accordance with regulations
- Perform accurate record-keeping and maintain proper vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Comply with all regulations and safety procedures
- Handle hazardous materials per federal guidelines and interact professionally with customers
- Valid CDL-A license
- At least 1 year of driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Preferred but not required endorsements: tanker and hazmat, to be obtained within 90 days
- Additional checks include work history and driving tests
