The Warehouse Operations Coordinator will be a key driver of efficient office, purchasing, inventory, pricing, and warehouse workflows. In this role, you'll coordinate daily receiving appointments, support supplier/broker and customer-facing processes, and use Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) to keep data, documents, and decisions accurate and on time. The Warehouse Operations Coordinator will partner closely with management, purchasing/logistics, warehouse staff, suppliers, brokers, delivery carriers, and agency stores to keep products moving and customers informed.

Warehouse Operations Coordinator (Job Requisition #55486), is open to all State employees and external applicants.

Work is performed in a mixed office and warehouse operations setting. The role is primarily administrative and technical but may require entering warehouse areas and supporting receiving, picking, staging audits, loading, or related warehouse activity as needed. Exposure may include warehouse traffic, pallets, product movement, loading/staging areas, temperature variation, noise, dust, and routine warehouse safety risks.

Minimum Qualifications

High school graduation or equivalent and one (1) year of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization. Additional experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, purchasing support, D365 or comparable ERP systems, product/vendor/customer data maintenance, or supplier/customer coordination is relevant to the expanded role.

OR

One (1) year of college level study in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field. Coursework or experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, business operations, or information systems is also relevant.

OR

One (1) year as an Administrative Services Technician III with the State of Vermont. Comparable experience performing specialized administrative/technical operations coordination in a warehouse, purchasing, inventory, retail operations, or ERP-supported environment should be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, warehouse receiving or inventory systems, purchasing support, supplier/broker coordination, product code maintenance, pricing support, special order processing, and customer-facing program administration.

Special Requirements

For some positions experience working with the VISION system (VISION is the State of Vermont People Soft financial management system) may be required. For this role, experience with D365 or comparable ERP/warehouse inventory systems may be required. Ability to work in warehouse areas and assist with warehouse operational duties as needed may also be required.
