Job Overview
Equipment & Systems buyer – Air Management System (f/m). Join the A220 commercial aircraft Programme’s Procurement & Supply team in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada, working closely with Airbus Procurement in Hamburg, Germany.
Responsibilities- Manage the procurement portfolio and processes for Air Management Systems (AMS) for the A220 within the Equipment & Systems organization.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including product and supplier strategies.
- Coordinate and align multi‑functional stakeholders (engineering, program, finance, supply chain, etc.) across all Airbus programmes.
- Administer contract(s):
- Monitor contract implementation with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure application of contractual conditions throughout the lifecycle to guarantee supplier performance in logistics, support, quality, cost, and other dimensions.
- Manage contract updates, including negotiation of change requests and modifications (MOD/PCR).
- Develop and execute cost‑reduction strategies for your scope.
- Experience in procurement, with strong business, technical, and procurement process knowledge.
- Experience working in multi‑functional environments.
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Commercial, contract, and financial knowledge is required.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
