Compensation Pay Range: $38.57-$47.34
Position Summary The Operations and Performance Measurement Specialist supports the Manager, Quality and Performance with the development and implementation of the Knowledge Institute’s operational plans and leads the planning, monitoring and reporting of operational activities. The specialist also leads the Knowledge Institute’s evaluation and performance measurement activities, continuously refining the performance measurement framework (KPIs, data collection, data analysis, reporting), supporting staff with evaluation planning and outcome measurement and championing evaluation processes throughout the organization to inform decision-making.
Main Responsibilities Support the development of the Knowledge Institute’s annual operational plan.
Lead the Knowledge Institute’s project planning activities.
Build the Knowledge Institute’s operational plan and KPIs in Microsoft Lists and/or other databases or systems.
Continuously improve MS Lists and other project management/CRM tools.
Guide leadership to monitor operational targets and deliverables and recommend course changes when needed.
Develop evidence-informed processes and tools to support leadership in strategic thinking and decision-making.
Enhance the Knowledge Institute’s performance measurement framework and organizational logic model.
Conduct research to ensure the framework remains innovative and suggest enhancements.
Coordinate data collection and quality assurance processes to ensure accurate tracking.
Use measurement data to report on KPIs quarterly and annually; present reports to advisory councils and funders.
Draft quarterly performance reports and support other reporting initiatives.
Work with teams to develop evaluation plans and outcome measurement tools.
Provide coaching and consultation on evaluation and performance measurement practices.
Oversee the development and management of data collection tools in Survey Monkey.
Support the implementation of the Knowledge Institute’s learning organization model via committees and working groups.
Lead quality improvement efforts, including huddles and associated tool development.
Provide additional support to leadership as needed.
Qualifications Essential qualifications
Master’s degree in a social science field, health planning or administration.
Demonstrated skills and experience in evaluation, performance measurement and continuous quality improvement.
Experience in project management and coordination.
Experience showing initiative and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Superior oral and written communication skills.
Proven time-management skills.
Experience with software and technology (e.g., Office 365, SPSS, NVIVO).
Criminal Record Check (CRC).
Preferred qualifications
Solid understanding of adult learning principles.
Experience with advanced data analysis tools.
Bilingualism (English and French).
Knowledge of the Knowledge Institute’s domain.
