Description

The Senior Analyst - Defense Sales Operations & Pipeline Management is the focal point for Defense sales operations, pipeline governance, and executive reporting. The role ensures accurate, consistent sales data and serves as the gatekeeper for information provided to senior leadership. It brings structure and oversight to support timely decisions in a highly governed environment.

What are your contributions to the team?

Defense Sales Governance & Executive Reporting
  • Act as the single point of accountability for Defense sales pipeline governance and reporting
  • Own consolidation, validation, and challenge of Defense sales data prior to executive submission
  • Proactively identify risks, inconsistencies, and misalignment; accelerate issues with clear recommendations
  • Ensure disciplined, accurate, consistent reporting for leadership
Dedicated Defense Pipeline Management
  • Manage and review the Sales Defense pipeline, including long cycles, complex stakeholders, and strict compliance needs
  • Ensure Defense opportunities receive appropriate scrutiny, prioritization, and resource alignment
  • Support accurate forecasting and demand/resource planning to enable effective organizational resourcing
Sales Representation in Defense Transformation Initiatives
  • Act as the Sales Operations representative in Defense transformation and operational forums
  • Join working sessions, governance reviews, and key decisions
  • Serve as the central point of contact for Defense sales operations inputs and reporting needs
  • Keep initiatives aligned to Defense pipeline priorities
  • Own day-to-day coordination to reduce load on Sales VPs/Directors
How to thrive in this role?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Support, Program Operations, or a related commercial function
  • Proven experience managing complex sales pipelines and executive-level reporting
  • Strong understanding of governance, forecasting, and pipeline management disciplines
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce and reporting/analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI/Tableau)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate with autonomy, sound judgment, and discretion
  • Ability to meet applicable confidentiality, export control, and customer security requirements (as required by program)
  • Handle sensitive information appropriately; follow internal controls and compliance standards
  • Strong political management skills: ability to understand, navigate, and effectively influence formal and informal dynamics
  • Experience supporting Defense, Government, or highly regulated programs (asset)
  • Experience with transformation or operating model change (asset)
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with senior stakeholders (asset)
  • Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset
