The base salary for this role ranges between $103,760 - $142,670, with eligibility for an incentive target of 15% which is contingent upon achieving both individual and company performance objectives. The pay range above is not a guarantee of compensation but reflects the potential total compensation for this role at the time of this posting based on the assigned job grade.
Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as geographic work location, relevant experience and individual skills. The stated range is a reasonable estimate and may change over time; final compensation may fall above or below the range provided. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or discontinue its compensation and advantages programs at any time, in accordance with applicable law.
The Contracts Manager is responsible for reviewing, negotiating, drafting and interpreting commercial and government tenders and contracts, with the objective of identifying and mitigating business and contracting risks. Working alongside legal and business stakeholders, the primary focus will be on sales contracts, with secondary focus on direct and indirect procurement contracts. Contract types to navigate include contract templates, customer/vendor templates, amendments, confidentiality agreements, RFX documents, and purchase order terms and conditions (and others).
You will generate agreements from standard approved templates. Assist business teams in their review of tender and contract documentation, and provide recommendations on contract terms and conditions. Ensure that the necessary internal stakeholders have been canvassed on identified legal and commercial issues and internal approvals have been received to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
