* Job Description:

Do you have experience in the aerospace or other industrial sectors? Have you worked in procurement and/or supply chain, and are you looking to grow and develop new skills? This role is for you!
The A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking its future Senior Cabin Buyer (m/f) to lead the strategic scope of our supplier Safran and the management of HOVs (Head of Version). Based in Mirabel, you will work within a dynamic local team, in daily synergy with Airbus procurement teams and in close collaboration with the Multi-Functional Teams (MFT) based in Mirabel, Toulouse, and Hamburg.
The team is structured to promote autonomous, cross‑functional collaboration, where members support one another and learn collectively.
As a Senior Cabin Buyer, your primary role will be to orchestrate the development of new Heads of Version (HOV) for each A220 customer, from the launch of the configuration to the signing of financial agreements.
You will drive your supplier’s activities in close collaboration with internal multi‑functional teams (Program, Finance, Engineering).
You will lead cross‑functional strategic projects and take ownership of cost‑reduction targets within your scope. As a primary point of contact, you will act as a key arbitrator to resolve commercial and contractual disputes.
Responsibilities   Serve as the single Cabin Procurement focal point for all topics and milestones related to Heads of Version (HOV).
Secure the A220 ramp‑up by ensuring supply chain maturity within your scope.
Protect the program’s financial performance by firmly containing prices and preventing cost increases.
Drive value by actively identifying and implementing new cost‑reduction (Cost Improvement) opportunities.
Drive contractual rigor, from the strict enforcement of agreements to the management and strategic analysis of supplier claims.
Ensure financial compliance through the reconciliation of contractual costs (discount clauses, OSS activities, etc.).
Work closely internationally by supporting A220 Program teams in consolidating the Operating Plan (OP) and Europe‑based Finance teams in steering recurring cost (RC) forecasts per configuration.
Travel Requirements  This role may involve occasional travel within the US & Europe. You must be willing to travel accordingly.
Benefits   Financial rewards: attractive salary, annual bonus, group insurance plan, pension plan and share‑purchase plan.
Work/Life balance: hybrid working policy, on‑site cafeteria and highly competitive holiday policy.
Well‑being/Health:
Employee Assistance Program (EAP), discount program, on‑site medical service, public shuttle service between Montreal and Mirabel and car‑pooling application.
Individual development: great upskilling opportunities and development prospects with unlimited access to over 10,000 e‑learning courses, certifications, accelerated development programmes, national and international mobility.
Qualifications   At least 5 years’ experience in procurement and/or commercial role.
Effective negotiator with robust business acumen and proven contracts knowledge.
Solid understanding of key financial indicators.
Experience delivering cost‑reduction initiatives.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong data analytics and management skills, including mastery of Google suite.
Experience working in a multi‑functional environment.
Effective management of customer expectations and stakeholder engagement.
Negotiation proficiency in English; other languages are an asset.
Autonomy, team spirit and solution‑driven attitude.
Flexibility and capacity to adapt to daily commercial and operational challenges.
