What will you be doing  Conduct of Operations Program   Coaching and advising facility personnel to support them in their obligations of ensuring a safe working environment using Conduct of Operations processes.
Preparing, reviewing, controlling, and improving Conduct of Operations processes, including providing guidance or assistance in the development and implementation of facility procedures.
Facilitating changes resulting from updates to requirements to ensure changes are implemented accurately, and current information is available for use throughout the Company.
Promoting adherence to Conduct of Operations Procedures within CNL.
Reporting Conduct of Operations-related issues to Functional Support Managers.
Assessment and Reporting of Conduct of Operations   Coaching management and staff on Conduct of Operations-related self‑assessments.
Leading Conduct of Operations improvement initiatives across the organization.
Completing assessment of the adequacy, effectiveness and suitability of business processes required to support the Conduct of Operations processes.
Other duties as assigned by your manager.
What we are looking for  Education  A University or college graduation in a relevant discipline (e.g., Management, Business Administration, Law, Quality, and Operational performance) or 15 years equivalent combination of formal training and experience is required.
Experience   Experience leading, coaching and negotiating with teams and superiors.
Experience and leadership ability in core business operations functions, such as strategic planning and implementation, database management, and internal compliance, in a complex, dynamic environment.
Experience developing, implementing and monitoring operational improvements resulting in more efficient and effective processes, procedures and plans.
Experience using interpersonal skills to effectively explain, negotiate, persuade and build consensus among diverse stakeholders; demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with all levels of personnel, both internal and external to the Company.
Demonstrated experience in identifying, troubleshooting, and escalating issues effectively.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities   Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
Proven ability to build and nurture constructive relationships and partnerships across internal organizations/groups, and with industry and external regulators.
Demonstrated ability to develop well-informed advice and strategies that are sensitive to the various needs of multiple stakeholders and partners, reflecting the strategic direction of CNL, and positioning CNL for success.
Advanced understanding of work planning and work management in a nuclear workplace.
Knowledge of Canadian business obligations and practices.
Security Clearance Eligibility Required  Level 2 Secret requires a minimum of 7 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's "Standard on Security Screening" and the "Policy on Government Security."
Working Conditions  Working schedule:
Five (5) days per week, seven and a half (7.5) hours per day for a thirty-seven and a half (37.5) hour work week.
