As a Senior Cabin Buyer, your primary role will be to orchestrate the development of new Heads of Version (HOV) for each A220 customer, from the launch of the configuration to the signing of financial agreements.

You will drive your supplier's activities in close collaboration with internal multi-functional teams (Program, Finance, Engineering).

  • Drive value by actively identifying and implementing new cost reduction (Cost Improvement) opportunities.
  • Drive contractual rigor, from the strict enforcement of agreements to the management and strategic analysis of supplier claims.
  • Ensure financial compliance through the reconciliation of contractual costs (discount clauses, OSS activities, etc.).
  • Work closely internationally by supporting A220 Program teams in consolidating the Operating Plan (OP) and Europe-based Finance teams in steering recurring cost (RC) forecasts per configuration.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Procurement and/or Commercial role.
  • Effective negotiator with strong business acumen and proven contracts knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of key financial indicators.
  • Experience delivering cost reduction initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong data analytics and management skills, including mastery of Google suite.
  • Experience working in a multi-functional environment.
  • Effective management of customer expectations and stakeholders.
  • Negotiation level in English; other languages are an asset.
  • Autonomy, team spirit, and solution-driven orientation.
  • Flexibility and capacity to adapt to daily commercial and operational challenges.
  • Travel: occasional travel within US & Europe may be required.
Benefits
  • Financial rewards: attractive salary, annual bonus, group insurance plan, pension plan, and share purchase plan.
  • Work/life balance: hybrid working policy, on-site cafeterias, highly competitive holiday policy.
  • Wellbeing/Health:
Employee Assistance Program, discount program, on-site medical service, public shuttle service between Montreal and Mirabel, carpooling application.
  • Individual development: unlimited access to more than 10,000 e-learning courses, development programs, national and international mobility.
