Take charge of supplier claims at our company as a Capital Asset Claims & Valuation Analyst. This role requires a strong background in auditing and contract compliance to ensure accurate asset valuation.
This position involves independent assessment of supplier claims, focusing on capitalized assets and related cost exposures. You will ensure claims align with company policies while engaging with suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering, and Finance. The role requires thorough testing and documentation of claims, with a key emphasis on on-site verification of capital assets and coordination with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Audit supplier cancellation claims involving capitalized assets
• Evaluate asset classification and investment scope alignment
• Assess compliance with CAPEX governance requirements
• Validate contract commitment controls and purchase order consistency
• Perform on-site inspections of capital assets
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• At least 3 years in audit or risk management
• Strong project management abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Ensure effective governance in CAPEX through independent auditing of supplier claims and asset evaluations.
