Business Analyst

Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities that will fall to you:

• Analyze and optimize procurement and payment processes to improve their efficiency and performance;
• Map current and future processes and identify opportunities for improvement;
• Assess the quality, consistency, integrity and readiness of data supporting business processes;
• Perform inventory of critical data related to suppliers, items, contracts, cost centers, and other master data;
• Identify gaps, anomalies, duplications, and risks that may affect transformation initiatives;
• Develop strategies for data cleansing, preparation and remediation in collaboration with stakeholders;
• Define the governance mechanisms, roles, responsibilities and controls necessary for sustainable data management;
• Determine the analytical needs, performance indicators and business intelligence capabilities needed for decision-making;
• Produce gap analyses, recommendations and transformation roadmaps;
• Contribute to preparatory activities related to the implementation of SAP S/4
  
  HANA;
• Lead process mapping and business needs validation workshops;
• Collaborate with business, operational and technological teams to ensure the alignment of proposed solutions;
• Participate in change management and support the adoption of new processes.

The profile sought is as follows:

• Have significant experience in the analysis and optimization of procurement, payment or finance processes;
• Demonstrate expertise in digital transformation projects and the implementation of enterprise resource planning systems;
• Master the principles of quality, governance and preparation of business data;
• Conduct process mapping workshops and apply Fit-to-Standard approaches;
• Use solutions such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4
  
  HANA or comparable platforms;
• Understand issues related to business processes, data, system integrations and operational governance;
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams composed of business, operational and technological stakeholders;
• Operate in complex environments with multiple stakeholders and dependencies;
• Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving and relationship management skills;
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing and produce quality deliverables;
• Experience in the logistics, transportation, infrastructure, maritime or supply chain sectors is an asset;
• Knowledge of revenue management activities or port environments is an asset.
