This role sits within Laurentian Bank. Reporting to the AVP, Digital Experience, the Sr. Bilingual Digital Content Writer (French and English) will join our team of digital content writers who are passionate about driving impactful and memorable web and mobile experiences for Laurentian Bank’s Personal Banking customers. Our leaders understand the importance of content design, what you do and why it has impact.
In this role, you’ll support the Content Strategy Leads in writing, editing, and proof-reading content that aligns with Laurentian Bank’s brand tone of voice for our public websites and secure online, mobile and credit card platforms. You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders, including UX/UI designers, Product Owners, Marketing Specialists, Corporate Communication writers and Technology partners, to develop clear, concise and user-friendly copy that aligns with end-user needs.
Your goal is to attract an engaged audience and simplify complex problems with optimal content design solutions. You’ll be valued for your impeccable technical copywriting skills, supporting us in developing meaningful content to help users complete their tasks on our banking platforms. #LI-Remote

ResponsibiliesYou’re fluent in French and English and can translate copy in both languages.You’ve a strong understanding of the French language in Canada, particularly the stylistic differences, linguistic subtlety, and cultural context.You’ve experience in technical writing for digital platforms and crafting compelling copy for marketing websites.You’re a creative writer who is passionate about delivering impactful content that appeals to and resonates with key audiences.You’re a self-directed and high impact contributor who thrives in taking the initiative to deliver exceptional UX writing consistently with minimal supervision.Work closely with English content writers on translating copy into French while focusing on localization needs, consistency, tone of voice and writing style. Proficiency in English writing would be a strong asset.Collaborate with the Digital, Corporate Communications, Product and Marketing teams to ensure content design and copy are cohesive, adhering to Laurentian bank’s brand tone of voice, accessibility guidelines and cross-stie consistency.Create and maintain copy decks and technical documentation including screen content, error messages, maintenance and incident messages, FAQ, project readiness communication workpackages.Contribute to and participate in usability testing sessions to gain a deep understanding of user needs, pain points and behaviour, ensuring these insights are applied to create an intuitive user experience for our customers.Work closely with the web publishing, marketing, product and project teams to ensure timely delivery of content.Integrate the results, data and findings from our monthly Digital Digest into our content delivery lifecycle, enabling project teams to identify user needs, validate content design assumptions and make informed decisions.Manage the content review and approval process with Legal and Compliance, ensuring regulatory concerns are considered and addressed.Provide project teams with content accessibility guidance and support according to WCAG compliance standards and guidelines.Advance the practice of inclusive design and thought leadership, educating team members to develop their understanding and mastery so that they can advocate accessibility principles and standards alongside you.QualificationsYou have a degree/diploma in French, Journalism or Communications with 8+ years of experience in the digital marketing and technical writing space.Yo…
