Position: IT - Digital Product Designer - Expert (Content Designer)
Location: MontrealJob Description:The Content Designer will play a pivotal role in enhancing digital experiences by shaping and delivering effective content strategies.The position supports the organization’s mission to lead in exceptional digital experiences through strategic content, collaboration, and focus on client needs and regulatory standards.Roles & Responsibilities:Create and implement strategies for client-focused digital contentFacilitate collaborative design and ideation sessionsProvide rationale and guidance for content strategies to product teamsSet practical direction for communication standards, tools, and processesAdvocate for clients’ needs regarding the role and impact of content in product designProduce clear, concise textual content for digital products (labels, explanatory text, metadata, etc.)Collaborate with peers to develop non-textual content and apply inclusive design principlesWork closely with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory teams to ensure complianceManage content documentation and lifecycleSupport and facilitate team-led research and testing on content effectivenessConduct competitive and content audits in support of design or business goals.Must Have:Post-secondary education (university degree or college diploma preferred)Minimum years of writing experience in a creative agency or in-house creative teamStrong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilitiesProficiency in EnglishPortfolio showcasing professional copywriting work.Proficiency in French.Nice to Have:Knowledge of accessibility standards and remediation methods.Awareness of current design and technology trends.EEC:Mindlance is an equal-opportunity employer.
