Hybrid Media Librarian French Content

Become a Media Librarian with CBC/Radio-Canada, specializing in French content within a hybrid working environment. Oversee the management of audiovisual archives and support regional programming initiatives.

In this temporary assignment through March 31, 2027, you will engage directly with programming teams to select and archive French-language media, cataloguing essential production materials. Key Responsibilities:

• Archive regional French-language television and radio programming

• Catalogue production materials efficiently

• Provide on-demand information about audiovisual archives

Requirements:

• Degree in information science or equivalent

• Two years of experience in relevant library services

• Understanding of media preservation and cataloguing

• Familiarity with CBC/Radio-Canada’s French Services

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
