As a permanent member of CBC News, you'll be expected to provide coverage in both English and French, focusing on the unique narratives of Quebec's communities. You'll produce written, audio, and video content that captivates and informs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and pitch original stories with audience engagement in mind
• Cover breaking news swiftly and accurately
• Work with other journalists to enhance story depth
• Package stories with compelling visuals and multimedia
• Assist in curating the CBC Quebec digital content lineup
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications
• Minimum three years of relevant journalism experience
• Strong command of Quebec news and events
• Exceptional writing and editing prowess
• Bilingual: fluent in English and competent in French
