Position: Job Cost Analyst for ESAP Project
Become a pivotal part of Black & McDonald’s Ottawa team as a Job Cost Analyst for the ESAP project. Your expertise in job cost monitoring, budgeting, and financial analysis will be essential in this 24-month term role.

The Job Cost Analyst will focus on performance and monitoring of job costs supporting construction modernization projects in the National Capital Region. As a key team member, you will use JD Edwards software to set up jobs, log costs, and analyze budget variances.

This role offers the chance to contribute through training and advancement opportunities within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use JD Edwards for job setup and cost tracking

• Monitor project budgets and analyze variances

• Prepare salary recovery and cost transfer forms

• Run productivity reports and prepare variance analyses

• Provide financial analysis for management as needed

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in accounting/finance

• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Effective communication and teamwork skills

• Experience with job costing processes
