Lead Financial Reporting Analyst
We are seeking a highly analytical Financial Reporting Analyst to transform complex data into meaningful financial and operational insights that support decision‑making across our staffing business. This role combines hands‑on Power BI development with core financial forecasting and report ownership, supporting decisions around revenue, margin, and workforce performance.
Responsibilities- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and reforecasting processes, including headcount, revenue, and margin modeling across contract and permanent placements
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting packages to be deployed through Power BI
- Deliver variance analysis on revenue, spreads, fill rates, and productivity metrics
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and Delivery to provide insight into client profitability, pricing, and program performance
- 4–7 years of experience in financial planning & analysis or BI/reporting roles, ideally within staffing or professional services
- Advanced expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard development) and Excel (financial modeling and analysis)
- Strong understanding of staffing financial drivers, including bill/pay rates, spreads, contractor gross margin and burden impacts, and placement fees and revenue recognition
- Experience working with large, multi‑source datasets (ATS/CRM, financial systems)
- Proven ability to lead work through others in a fast‑paced, cycle‑driven environment
- Strong financial and operational mindset with a focus on revenue and margin drivers
- Ability to connect data, systems, and business performance into actionable insights
- High attention to detail and ownership of reporting outputs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Proactive, builder mentality focused on automation, scalability, and continuous improvement
- Experience with Bullhorn or similar ATS/CRM platforms
- Experience with FP&A tools (e.g., Adaptive, Pigment)
- Strong understanding of staffing KPIs (fill rates, time‑to‑fill, recruiter productivity, contractor retention)
Salary range: $80,000 – $100,000. Our benefits offering includes medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.
