Financial Planner – TD Wealth

TD Wealth is a sophisticated wealth planning firm. We seek an experienced professional to provide comprehensive financial planning and advice to mass affluent investors.

Responsibilities
  • Identify client life and financial goals, provide comprehensive reviews, build long-term relationships through financial planning expertise.
  • Conduct reporting and relevant analysis, make recommendations, and continually assess the effectiveness of programs.
  • Contribute to team and department goals while strengthening customer service.
  • Monitor service productivity, assess efficiency and implement continuous improvements.
  • Maintain knowledge of best practices, procedures and emerging trends.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to others.
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control aligned with risk appetite.
  • Participate fully as a team member and support a positive service‑oriented work environment.
Qualifications – Required
  • Financial planner diploma from the Institute of Financial Planning (IPF) prior to start date.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or CFA Level 1 (or higher) prior to start date.
  • 3 to 5 years of banking experience.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required.
Nice to Have
  • CIRO license (required within first 90 days).
  • Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days.
  • Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months.
  • Deep understanding of industry, competitive landscape and economic market issues.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to work collaboratively and independently.
