Hello, I’m Caroline, a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance roles. I handle two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates within your industry. We cover roles in accounting, finance, and payroll.

I am currently seeking an Accountant for my client based in Granby. This is a permanent, on-site position.

Mission

Manage all aspects of day‑to‑day accounting and the accounting cycle through to monthly closing (reconciliations, journal entries, preparation of financial reports).

Optimize and automate accounting processes to improve operational efficiency.

Analyze financial results and establish relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) for management.

Conduct financial and strategic analyses, including business cases, profitability studies, and grant applications.

Serve as a business partner to management by providing recommendations and supporting financial decision‑making.

Your profile

At least 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in an SME or manufacturing environment.

Proven experience in managing the entire accounting cycle.

Excellent proficiency in Excel and the ability to organize and analyze financial data.

Proficiency with accounting software, particularly Acomba or an equivalent ERP system.

Ability to develop value‑added financial analyses (business cases, profitability analyses, grants).

Analytical mindset enabling the transformation of data into clear and strategic recommendations.

PROCESS:
Initial interview with Caroline Vansteene, Recruitment Consultant, followed by an interview with the Director of Operations.
