Be part of Manulife's team as a Senior Actuarial Analyst located in Montreal, Quebec. This role combines professional actuarial support with compliance and team collaboration in a hybrid setup.
As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will engage in activities related to defined benefits pension plans, executing calculations, and preparing reports while collaborating closely with a small team led by a fellow actuary. Your contributions will include simple analysis and participation in actuarial studies, all aimed at strengthening our financial strategies. This is a unique chance to deepen your actuarial knowledge and impact on the business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute actuarial and administrative tasks for pension plans
• Perform standard calculations for analysis and reports
• Lead simple mandates and special projects
• Identify operational weaknesses and apply controls
• Ensure adherence to compliance standards
Requirements:
• University degree in Actuarial studies or Mathematics
• Experience with defined benefit plans is a plus
• Knowledge of Excel;
Visual Basic and Access skills advantageous
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach
• Bilingual in French and English
