IDRC Strategic Financial Advisor Position

As part of IDRC’s Finance and Administration Division, this position requires a robust background in finance. You will lead budget preparation, refine financial models, and ensure internal report accuracy. Your primary focus will be on offering strategic advice and identifying financial risks while facilitating timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare annual Program of Work and Budget documents
• Lead the budget process and quarterly forecasts
• Identify financial risks and implement corrective actions
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights
• Generate accurate financial reports for stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or finance
• CPA designation with a recognized accounting association
• At least 8 years of relevant financial experience
• Proficient in financial systems;
Workday Adaptive knowledge preferred
• Bilingual in English and French
