Compensation Details

Base salary: 45,700 – 61,000 CAD. The TD offers a competitive total compensation package that includes base pay, variable rewards and a range of benefits such as health, retirement, paid leave, and financial wellness programs.

Job Overview

At TD Canada Trust, you will be on the front line, building strong client relationships and providing information and advice about TD’s products and solutions. You will assist customers with everyday banking needs, guide them to the right team member for specialized services, and help promote products and services to meet their financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage customers in conversations about their financial needs, everyday banking, and digital services.
  • Understand customer needs and refer them to the appropriate staff member with sound judgment for confidential matters.
  • Educate clients on digital banking trends, such as mobile banking, ATMs, and online services.
  • Support front‑line staff with scheduled and non‑scheduled operations, resolve primary issues and report exceptions.
  • Recommend process improvements and operational enhancements to improve customer experience and operational excellence.
  • Adhere to business processes and procedures, ensuring documents are accurate and compliant with regulations and TD’s Code of Conduct.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by participating in performance, development, and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • At least one year of relevant experience.
  • Investments Foundations in Canada (FIC) certification or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
  • Post‑secondary education or bachelor’s degree in a related field is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), branch software and internet.
  • Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to inform clients.
  • Initiative, strong organization, and ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
  • Positive, proactive, and detail‑oriented approach to managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to establish rapport with customers and stakeholders.

Language Requirements

Proficiency in French is required. Mastery of another language (e.g., English) is preferable to support clients who require services in a language other than French.
