CMHC Bilingual Underwriter – Multi-Unit Focus

Join CMHC as a Bilingual Specialist and contribute to housing initiatives as a Multi-Unit Underwriter in a hybrid capacity. Utilize your analytical skills to support affordable housing projects throughout Canada.

This temporary full-time role encompasses locations such as Toronto and Calgary. You will partner with clients and government stakeholders to deliver strategic underwriting solutions. Candidates must possess extensive experience in financing multi-unit properties and the ability to analyze financial data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make informed decisions based on financial analysis

• Develop and maintain client relationships to understand housing needs

• Review and approve loans under the ACLP program

• Conduct comprehensive financial evaluations for underwriting

• Manage risk through diligent assessment of applications

Requirements:

• Degree in finance, real estate, or related field

• At least five years of relevant financing or credit risk experience

• Experience with loan reviews and financial viability assessments

• Problem-solving and analytical skills

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French
