As a Mortgage Underwriter in the Third Party Residential Underwriting Division, you will report to the Manager and be tasked with assessing mortgage applications within established limits. Building and maintaining relationships with mortgage brokers and external partners is essential, along with adhering to company policies for risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish positive relationships with mortgage brokers

• Adjudicate mortgage applications accurately

• Interact with mortgage insurers for lending decisions

• Prepare mortgage commitments within service agreements

• Stay current with industry trends and guidelines

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of mortgage underwriting experience

• Strong communication and analytical skills
