Summary

A private residence located in Westmount is seeking an experienced, reliable, and meticulous Housekeeper to ensure the upkeep, organization, and smooth day-to-day operation of a condo apartment occupied two days per week by its owner.

This is an autonomous role intended for a trusted individual who will care for the residence as if it were their own home.

Key Responsibilities

Organization and Management:

• Identify maintenance and housekeeping tasks to be completed and establish priorities.
• Plan weekly work schedules according to the residence’s occupancy.
• Communicate as needed with vendors and service providers (maintenance, repairs, deliveries, etc.).
• Report any damages, required repairs, or potential improvements.
• Maintain a high level of quality, consistency, and discretion at all times.
• Conduct inventories as needed.
• Perform any other related tasks required for the proper functioning of the residence.

Apartment

Housekeeping:

• Vacuum and dust furniture.
• Clean bathrooms.
• Empty waste bins.
• Replace towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, and other supplies.
• Perform laundry, change beds, and care for household linens.
• Iron linens (tablecloths, sheets, napkins) and selected garments.
• Periodically clean silverware and copper items.
• Carry out seasonal maintenance tasks (closet organization, mattress rotation, window washing, etc.).

Candidate Profile

• We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented professional who will care for the residence with the same commitment and attention as their own home.
• The ideal candidate is resourceful, autonomous, demonstrates excellent judgment, and is comfortable communicating with vendors and service providers.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a housekeeper or in a similar role within a private residence.
• Strong autonomy and sense of responsibility.
• Absolute discretion and professionalism.
• Exceptional attention to detail with high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Conditions

• Position: 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
• Hourly wage: $35/hour
