Food Service Supervisor

Schedule: Variable schedule based on operational needs, including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays, as required.

Salary: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Maison Amitié is seeking a Dining Services Supervisor (Dining Room) to support the Front-Line Manager in the daily operations of Food Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the dining room team, ensuring exceptional service for residents, coordinating special events and catering services, and providing support for administrative and operational activities.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer service-oriented, and passionate about creating a warm and welcoming dining experience for seniors.

• Supervise daily dining room operations and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Train, coach, and support dining room employees.
• Prepare and manage staff schedules while ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
• Respond to resident feedback and promptly resolve service-related concerns.
• Complete daily closing procedures, including sales reconciliation and deposit preparation.
• Ensure proper dining room and table setup according to established standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth execution of daily operations.
• Demonstrate flexibility and support operational needs based on service priorities.

Catering Services and Special Events

• Work closely with the Front-Line Manager to coordinate catered events.
• Participate in preparing quotations and pricing for catering services.
• Coordinate event logistics and execution.
• Assist with organizing themed meals, seasonal events, and resident activities.

• Previous supervisory experience in food services, hospitality, seniors’ residences, or a similar environment.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Experience handling cash and preparing bank deposits.
• Experience coordinating events or catering services is considered an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Previous supervisory experience in food services, hospitality, seniors’ residences, or a similar environment.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Experience handling cash and preparing bank deposits.
• Experience coordinating events or catering services is considered an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Fluency in French is required.
• Knowledge of English is considered an asset.
