The Junior HR Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources department. This entry-level position focuses on data entry, employee record maintenance, benefits administration support, and preparation of HR documents. The role is ideal for a candidate to begin a career in Human Resources and to develop HR administrative skills while supporting daily HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration & Data Entry
Enter and update employee data in various HR systems (Shot Grid, ADP, HiBOB)Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee recordsVerify data accuracy and report inconsistencies when identifiedAssist with routine HR administrative tasks and filingBenefits & Employee Support
Support regular updates to employee benefits plansMaintain benefits documentation and recordsAnswer basic employee questions related to benefits and HR administrative processesRedirect complex inquiries to the appropriate HR team memberTax Credit & HR Forms
Assist in the preparation and transmission of tax credit formsSupport responses to employee questions related to tax documentationEnsure proper filing and tracking of HR formsHR Documentation
Prepare HR letters, employment confirmations, and official correspondenceAssist with employment contract extensions, amendments, and other HR documentsEnsure documents are properly completed, stored, and archivedPolicies & Procedures Support
Assist in formatting, updating, and correcting HR policies and proceduresSupport the preparation of HR forms and templatesHelp prepare HR forms and templates used across the organizationQualifications
Diploma or degree (or in progress) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldPrevious experience in an HR administrative or assistant role is an assetStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyProficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)Ability to handle confidential information responsiblyGood written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to learn and take directionsBilingual (French and English)*Values

They will regularly interact with non-French-speaking stakeholders across various productions and strategic communications, in order to present and promote the creative and technical strengths of Mikros Animation on a global scale.
