This temporary long-term position is crucial for implementing Indigenous recruitment initiatives and ensuring culturally safe practices throughout the hiring process. With a strong emphasis on inclusivity, the specialist will work to build a diverse candidate pipeline while advising on trauma-informed hiring methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute Indigenous recruitment strategies
• Advise on best practices for inclusive hiring
• Build partnerships with Indigenous organizations
• Drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes
• Conduct workforce analysis to identify representation gaps
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in a relevant field
• 5-7 years of talent acquisition experience
• Deep understanding of Indigenous cultures
• Bilingual in English and French
• Proven experience in community engagement
