• Lead and manage various HR projects aimed at improving processes and enhancing employee experience across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement within HR operations and shared services.
• Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
• Conduct thorough analyses of current HR practices and recommend innovative solutions that align with industry best practices.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate employees on new HR initiatives and policies.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented projects, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Act as a liaison between HR and other departments, fostering a collaborative environment to support organizational goals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends, tools, and technologies to ensure Smardt remains competitive in talent management.
• Assist in the development of HR metrics and reporting tools to track project outcomes and employee engagement levels.
• Support the recruitment process by providing insights into workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, minimizing risks associated with HR practices.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect the needs of the organization and its employees.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR project management or a similar role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in HR software and project management tools, with a strong understanding of HRIS systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• Experience in change management and organizational development.
• Familiarity with labor laws and regulations in Quebec and Canada.
• Knowledge of employee engagement strategies and best practices.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is highly desirable.

• This position is based in Dorval, Quebec, and may require occasional travel to other Smardt locations.
• The salary for this role will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
