This position involves supporting HR operations and collaborating closely with the Director of HR. You will play a critical role in executing recruitment, guiding employee relations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory training. Leverage your HR expertise to shape practices within a national advocacy organization leading the charge for First Nations rights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee recruitment and staffing processes comprehensively
• Provide guidance on employee performance and HR policies
• Coordinate and execute efficient onboarding and orientation
• Track and ensure compliance for mandatory training
• Manage accurate payroll and employee benefits
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in HR or related area
• Minimum 5 years' HR experience
• Strong grasp of Canadian employment legislation
• HRIS and MS Office proficiency
• Bilingual skills are an asset
