Ottawa Human Resources Advisor Position

Drive HR initiatives with METRO as a Human Resources Advisor based in Ottawa, Ontario. This permanent full-time position emphasizes recruitment, grievance handling, and compliance support.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive HR support to retail and distribution operations. You will manage grievances, conduct investigations, and help coordinate recruitment for essential roles. Your collaboration with Store Operations will ensure HR practices align with regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with collective agreement interpretations

• Investigate and resolve employee grievances

• Lead recruitment for management positions

• Conduct harassment investigations

• Support training programs and compliance efforts

Requirements:

• College diploma or University studies in HR

• 3-5 years retail HR experience

• CHRP designation is beneficial

• Strong verbal and written communication

• Microsoft Office and SAP knowledge
