Our client is one of the largest and fastest growing residential owner and operators with strong national presence in Canada. With over $10 billion dollars in assets, they are currently seeking Building Managers, Superintendents and Maintenance Technicians
. Some of these positions are live-in and some are live-out positions and the roles are located throughout Montreal at different properties/buildings. In these roles, you will be mainly responsible for property maintenance including building mechanical systems, administrative duties and cleaning duties to ensure the community is well maintained and in presentable order on a daily basis. Some administration and leasing tasks may be required in some of these roles.

Compensation

  • Competitive compensation package based on experience and portfolio.
  • Live-In positions include accommodations along with base salary and other compensation perks.
  • Live-out positions include a higher base salary than live-in roles with other compensation perks.
  • Position Description

    Working within a team environment, as the successful candidates, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring tenant requests are fulfilled and dealt with in a timely manner
  • Ensuring work orders are organized and tackled in priority sequence
  • Responsible for building maintenance and repairs
  • Minor electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs
  • Respond to afterhours emergencies
  • Managing subcontractors while on-site
  • Showing of vacant suites as required
  • Rent collection and ensuring tenant accounts are up to date
  • Compiling and issuing of tenant notices
  • Ensuring the common areas are clean and well maintained on a regular basis
  • Experience

  • Have experience in building maintenance within high rise residential
  • Have strong communication skills, able to manage client relationships
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills, able to think on your feet
  • Have strong maintenance skills and the ability to direct other maintenance associates and organize work order based on priority
  • Strong computer and administrative skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment
