  • What You'll Do

  • Organize and lead all branch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and customs regulations
  • Manage and develop branch staff through hiring, training, and performance management
  • Monitor branch performance, take corrective action as necessary, and drive towards revenue goals
  • Oversee customs entries, duty payments, and ensure the timely clearance of inbound cargo
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client calls and emails and addressing concerns
  • Audit entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs requirements
  • Support business development efforts and participate in client visits as needed
  • Keep the team informed of regulatory changes and ensure appropriate training is provided
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to maintain communication and alignment within the branch
  • Provide after-hours assistance to staff and clients as required
  • What You'll Bring

  • A valid Customs Brokerage License
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of customs brokerage experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop staff
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software
  • The ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities
