In this vital role, the CAO provides administrative oversight and strategic direction based on NAN's mandates from the Chiefs-in-Assembly. Your leadership will hinge on fostering accountability, effective operations, and financial integrity to support NAN’s vision. You will engage with various stakeholders to ensure that organizational systems align with community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate Executive Council direction into operational plans

• Oversee compliance with funding and governance requirements

• Ensure a culture of trust, transparency, and collaboration

• Lead budgeting and financial accountability efforts

• Support risk management and resource allocation decisions

Requirements:

• Relevant post-secondary degree or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 10 years in senior leadership roles

• In-depth understanding of governance and community priorities

• Experience in financial management and policy development

• Fluency in a NAN dialect is preferred
