Wabano is searching for an experienced leader to shape a new vision for its expanding Programs Department. With more than 15,000 Indigenous clients served annually, you'll manage and develop a talented team, balancing service delivery with budget management. This role requires a passion for community engagement and a commitment to Indigenous traditions and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruit and develop a dedicated team of program staff
• Innovate program offerings through community needs assessment
• Oversee budget creation and monitor spending plans
• Streamline operational processes for service efficiency
• Coordinate with consultants and traditional knowledge keepers
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of management experience in community outreach
• Proven project management in cultural initiatives
• Understanding of social determinants affecting Indigenous health
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
