Project Manager for Test Fixture Builds

Lead and manage test fixture builds as Ciena’s Project Manager. This role emphasizes program management and mechanical assembly within a lab-focused environment.

At Ciena, you’ll work with the Test Station and Fixture build team to oversee the project management of test fixtures. This role requires strong organizational capabilities and mechanical skills for successful assembly, providing oversight to contractors as needed. Your contributions will ensure effective scheduling and efficient function of builds and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program manage test fixture and mechanical assemblies

• Schedule and meet deadlines per build requirements

• Guide external contractors on fixture development

• Maintain documentation and manage inventory effectively

• Ensure compliance through visual inspections of PCBA

Requirements:

• Experience in laboratory environments

• Strong organization, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proficient in planning and scheduling activities
