AIT Project Manager

We are looking for an AIT Project Manager to join our satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

• Reviews requests from AIT managers, implements and assists in planning the resources needed to manage the line or program.
• Assists AIT managers with budget management and develops or improves financial management tools.
• Prepares detailed schedules to track program progress on a daily basis, conducts frequent and regular assessments of costs to date and remaining estimates, and develops contingency plans as needed to meet cost and schedule objectives.
• Identifies and manages risks and opportunities related to the program or integration line.
• Monitors progress on integration and continuous improvement projects.
• Assists AIT managers in ensuring station readiness.
• Maintains visibility into schedules for internal clients through presentations and supports monthly reviews of AIT teams.

• Three years of experience in program/project management or project engineering in a related technical field.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience in negotiations, risk management, contract management, subcontract management, finance, and U.S. ITAR regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Team player.
• Proactive, dynamic, resourceful, and self‑motivated.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and with external clients.
• Must be flexible and open to change.
• Ability to communicate in French and English. (Contact with customers outside Quebec and head office managers in Ontario).
• Proficiency in project management tools.

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level and pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
