As the Manager of Payroll Services, you will provide leadership and oversight for payroll across CHEO, the CHEO Research Institute, and Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice. This role is tailored for a payroll professional who excels in complex environments, ensuring timely, accurate payroll processing and compliance with all relevant legislation. You will mentor a dedicated payroll team committed to high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead payroll processing for both unionized and non-unionized employees

• Ensure all payroll activities meet legislative requirements

• Manage year-end processes, including T4 preparation

• Partner with various departments for system enhancements

• Address complex payroll concerns as a senior escalation point

Requirements:

• 5+ years of payroll management experience in healthcare preferred

• Valid Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation

• Knowledgeable in payroll legislation and auditing practices

• Proficient with UKG, Workday, and payroll management software

• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks
