A career as a Director, Performance and Operational Excellence within the Distribution Strategy team at National Bank Insurance means playing a strategic role in accelerating distribution performance by aligning business priorities, talent development, operational practices, and transformation initiatives. Working closely with distribution partners, business leaders, and subject matter experts, you will contribute to developing talent, optimizing execution, and supporting sustainable growth while enhancing the client experience.

Your role
  • Support distribution leaders in improving performance, developing capabilities, and achieving business objectives.
  • Identify talent development needs and recommend coaching, training, and support solutions aligned with field realities.
  • Implement initiatives that promote best practices, operational excellence, and continuous performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Distribution, Product, Operations, Training, and corporate partners to ensure a consistent employee experience and effective execution.
  • Measure the impact of initiatives through performance indicators, analyze results, and adjust approaches to maximize outcomes.
  • Integrate innovative approaches, digital solutions, and artificial intelligence to enhance team effectiveness and the quality of support provided.

Your team

As part of National Bank Insurance, you will join an agile and engaged team of five specialists that serves as a strategic lever to support growth, distribution network performance, and operational excellence. The team plays a key role in aligning business priorities, developing capabilities, optimizing practices, and accelerating transformation initiatives to drive sustainable business results and enhance the client experience.

Within the Distribution Strategy sector, you will lead a team of five specialists and report to the Senior Director, Distribution Strategy and Skills Development. Working closely with Regional Business Development Directors, the Sales and Distribution, Product, Operations, and Training teams, as well as numerous corporate partners, your team contributes to talent development, execution excellence, and the sustainable growth of the distribution network.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of seven years of experience in distribution strategy, operational excellence, organizational transformation, or business activation.
  • Experience leading and developing teams, including talent development, leadership coaching, and the implementation of programs that drive the adoption of new practices.
  • Strong ability to leverage data, performance metrics, and analytics to guide decision-making and evaluate results.
  • Solid understanding of commercial performance, field execution, and change management challenges.
