• Ensure productivity and quality targets are met and that human and material resources are used effectively.
• Supervise a work team of approximately 25 employees.
• Ensure workplace health and safety rules and procedures are followed.
• Manage and develop the team.
• Actively participate in planning and work organization meetings.
• Create and maintain harmonious and effective relationships with the team and other company departments.

• College diploma (DEC) in administration or another relevant discipline.
• 5 years of team management experience.
• Experience in a unionized environment.
• Leadership.
• Excellent communicator and team player.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools is an asset.
• Bilingualism is an asset.
• Customer-oriented.
• Ability to set priorities.
• Ability to delegate.
