The City of Swift Current is searching for a Manager for its Water & Wastewater Utility. This position requires oversight of the water distribution and wastewater systems, ensuring operational reliability and compliance with regulatory standards. You will lead a team, manage budgets, and ensure alignment with long-term organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and review operational plans for utility services

• Ensure emergency response and business continuity planning

• Supervise and mentor staff within the utility

• Direct budget planning and monitor service policies

• Oversee capital projects aligned with service objectives

Requirements:

• Level 4 Certification in Water Distribution and Level 3 in Wastewater

• At least five years in water utility operations roles

• In-depth knowledge of asset management practices

• Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills

• Capable of fostering relationships with external stakeholders

Lead improvement initiatives within the City’s Water & Wastewater Utility to foster community sustainability.
